Call of Duty: WW2 has an amazing new trailer that tells the story of protagonist Ronald “Red” Daniels.
Daniels is who we’ll be playing as for the majority of the campaign in Call of Duty: WW2, and we get to learn a little bit about him in today’s trailer.
Private Ronald “Red” Daniels is a young recruit who joins the U.S. First Infantry Division. His first combat experience is the D-Day landings. The trailer shows the same squad we were introduced to in the first reveal, but seems to tell a much deeper story than we expected.
As far as footage, there’s a mix of in-engine cut-scenes and general gameplay, so it’s honestly hard to tell because of how impressive it all looks. The campaign promises more historical battles beyond D-Day, such as the Hürtgen Forest, and the Battle of the Bulge.
Over the next few days, we’ll be treated to even more campaign details. Some of the upcoming reveals include a look at the main squad, and some of the allies we’ll meet along the way.
Call of Duty: WW2 is out November 3 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
